Well, as you can see, I've done a little modifying to my blog. Thanks to Mara Holbrook's blog, I got the idea for the template. They have tons of them to choose from, so this may change from time to time. Anyway, we are keeping busy up here in Cordova, Alaska. The fishing is pretty slow, so we are thinking about going back down to Wyoming/Idaho for a couple of weeks to take care of some business and see our families. I'm ready for some sunshine, and maybe a tan. It's really been raining here the past week. I had to have the kids move some of their toys from down by the lake because it's risen about 2 feet this week. We were also visited today by a mother grizzly bear and her 2 cubs. My neighbor, Bonnie Titterington, walked out of her house towards the outhouse and it walked out from behind her truck and Bonnie yelled and ran for the house because it was only 10 feet away. Bruce was heading that way with Deshka in tow, so if Bonnie hadn't scared it away, he would have run right into them. I'm grateful they ran off, but it will definately make me keep my eyes out. I couldn't believe they were out there in broad daylight with 2 dogs around and both Ron and Bruce were outside working and making all sorts of noise. Thankfully, my other kids were in the house doing the dishes. Anyway, that's the story for the day. We're all safe, dry and warm in our little cabin. And, except for the slow fishing year, we're really enjoying ourselves.

Hey Crystal,
I love the blog and your kids are so cute, I love the sharing the seat belt, that was very clever. That is crazy about the bears. I would be so scared. Looks like you guys are pretty busy. It is great to see your blog and stay updated. Take Care, Mara
