Bruce had surgery to remove the hardware in his left heel from the calcaneous fracture that he had last year when he fell off of the roof.

Here are the screws and the plate that they took out of Bruce's heel. I put the paper clip by one to show the size of them. That one is the longest at about 2" long. Can you believe that all of that was over $10,000!!! And, that was just the hardware. We should sell them on e-bay :)

A few days after Bruce had surgery, a friend and neighbor of ours that Bruce was working for, fell off of his roof and shattered both heels. So, he is seeing the same doctor in Jackson, WY that we are. They went over together when Bruce had to get his cast on. Mike told Bruce that he'd quit chewing if Bruce would get a pink cast. So, Bruce has lived up to his end of the bargain, we'll see if Mike can make it on his end. Bruce isn't brave enough to go out in public with his pink cast though, he makes me wrap it with an ace bandage. Exept for Halloween, we went to the carnival with it that way. Didn't figure many would notice with all of the other crazy costumes out there.
