Moving Day!

Well, it's finally official! We are moving to Cordova, Alaska the 2nd week of March. We have a lot to do before we can head up there, but we are excited to go. We found someone to manage our storage units and may have found someone to rent our duplex. We are slowly getting our log yard cleaned up in Salmon so that we have a better chance of selling it. But, until then, we have both our house and our shop rented out for a little while.

We have been keeping busy here in Dubois. We just got done adding 12 new units on to our storage units. Of course, they aren't completely done because the place we ordered our metal building from has messed up our order like 3 times, so we're waiting on the right pieces to show up. But, I already have several of them rented out, so we're glad that we did it when we did.

We will celebrate Deshka's 2nd birthday right before we head up north. I just can't believe that my baby is already 2. I am now officially the only one of my brothers and sisters that isn't having or had a baby in the past or upcoming year. My sister, Brandy, is expecting in September, Summer had baby girl #6, Rylee, in August, my brother Joseph and his wife Julie are expecting a boy in March and Jonathan and Julieanne are expecting their first baby (girl) in June. So, I am the odd ball out, but I'm ok with that. I get my baby urges out of the way by holding other people's babies. :)
