Because of Scouts, he's already a pretty good shot.

Dakota must be ambidextrous (?) He has to shoot left handed because he can't keep his right eye open. The gun's a little big for him, so Bruce helps him keep it steady, but if Cody does it, Dakota wants to do it too. He's like a little Cody puppet.

Having only shot a rifle like 5 times in my life, I was excited just to hit the target a few times.
